Yes 1 5/7 and 4 2/7 is a solution. Adding those two numbers equals 6 because 5/7 + 2/7 = 1, then you have 4 + 1 +1 = 6

Two other solutions to x + y = 6 are any combinations of numbers when added together equal 6.

x = 5, y = 1

and

x = 2, y = 4
