-5(r -6) + 3(-8 + 8r) = -32
-5r + 30 - 24 + 24r = -32
19r + 6 = -32 // combining like terms
19r = -32 -6 // the 6 is positive, so it pass negative
r = -38/19 // the 19 is dividing, so it pass multiplying
r = -2
