the answer would be 2 1/4 because 4 can go into 9 twice and you have 1 left over. hoped this helped!

9/4 as a mixed number would be 2 1/4 because 4 can go into 9 twice and there would be 1 left over from 8-9, so you put the 1 over the 4.
