Mandy bought a purse and a pair of boots for $96. The pair of boots cost twice asmuch as the purse. What was the difference in price between the pair of boots and the purse?

The difference was $66.


Work:

32 x 2 = 64

Then try 32 + 64 = 96


That's how you can tell.
