I'll help, but I won't give you the answer.

Multiply 5 3/4 by 3 1/2 to get your answer. Or, if you don't have a fraction calculator, convert it to decimals: 5.75 * 3.5

Area of a rectangle = Length × Width
Area of a rectangle = 5[tex] \frac{3}{4} [/tex] × 3[tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex]
(Make the fractions decimals)
5[tex] \frac{3}{4} [/tex] = 5.75
3[tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex] = 3.5
Area of a rectangle = 5.75 * 3.5
Area of the window = 20.12500 ft.²
