Nate is 10 9/12 years old. How old will he be in 2 1/12 more years?

To do this, start simple first.

Add 10 and 2

10 + 2 = 12

Now add the fractions:

9/12 + 1/12 = 10/12

Simplify: 5/6

Nate will be 12 and 5/6 years old.
