first you find what 10^15 which is 1,000,000,000,000,000 so then you do 8.96x1,000,000,000,000,000 which is 8,960,000,000,000,000. And then you do the samething with the other side. 10^13=10,000,000,000,000. 2.10x10,000,000,000,000= 21,000,000,000,000. Add them and its 8,981,000,000,000,000.
I hope this helps
