a) formua for the area of a trapezoid = 1/2(b1 + b2)(h)

b) b1 = top base = 5cm, b2 = bottom base = 10cm, h = height = 17cm

c)
A = 1/2(b1 + b2)(h)
A = 1/2(5 + 10)(17)

1)Area of trapezoid = (sum of bases)*h/2 = =1/2 (a+b) *h

2)a&b are bases
h is the perpendicular height

3) 1/2 (5+10)*17 =127.5 cm²
